Effective Hair Growth Products
anyone have suggestions for natural remedies or best products that enhance hair growth?
my hair grows so slow!! And, it doesn't help that I have dyed and highlighted it a million times! Anyone have any ideas or great tips on how I can make it grow faster and ultimately get it very shiney and healthy?
First, you're going to need to remove as much damage as possible. Push those thoughts of "My hair will take longer to grow out" away because it'll be worth it because you don't want to grow out nasty, ratty hair. What you eat can affect your hair growth too. Protein is key to healthy hair and it can help maximize hair growth*. Also, make sure you get your daily vitamins, too. I suggest that you don't use heated hair products because they can result in split ends and damaged hair.
When you brush your hair, you should *never* start at the roots. When I say don't start at the roots, I mean you can start anywhere in the hair *but* the roots. Blood circulation also helps, and the most convenient way of massaging my scalp is when I'm in the shower, shampooing my hair.
*Bacon is a super food for your hair, but not recommended for daily indulgence
Another thing I LOVE to do is this extra virgin olive oil treatment. It's quite simple. All you need to do is coat your hair with the oil and leave your hair in a shower cap, or wrapped in a towel (I suggest you leave it in during the night). The next day, wash it off with hot water and shampoo and conditioner.
