Hair Growth Length Chart
What kind of split ends prevent growth?
By definition, split ends are when your hair actually splits down the middle. It will either break off and appear shorter, or each individual hair will actually split all the way up to the shaft. I was wondering if all kinds of split ends do this?
I have examined my hair really closely with a magnified glass, and according to this chart, i have the "right angle" kind of split ends. I dont see any hairs actually "splitting":

Im trying to grow my hair out and its a shoulder length which is already really short and I dont want to have to cut it even shorter. I was wondering if I can just let these kinds of split ends be. Will my hair still grow? or does this kind need to be cut too...?
Split ends are split ends. It's hair that is damaged. You should trim your hair of the split ends. Since you don't seem interested in doing this, I recommend using Super Strong Liquid Treatment.
