Hair Growth Herbs Oils
Spells and Hair growth?
I'm Druidic and looking for a way to make my hair grow faster after a *really* bad hair cut. I'm taking selenium and fish oil and b-complex and a multi to make it grow faster. I use generic mane & tail conditioner, and keep my hair as healthy as possible. I've always eaten a healthy diet, but I really need something more to to really make it grow a bit faster. Does anyone have any spells or meditations, or even herbs or something to make it grow faster? even products that work would be nice, or a better vitamin to take. Thanks for answering.

Rosemary in oil? bacteria?? cooking, good for hair?
I like to put rosemary on my husband's eggs. It seems to be most aromatic when oil releases the spice? So, then I put it in a jar of oil to soak for ... well.. for ever. Now, will this grow bacteria? should I add salt to the mixture? would that help? should I store it in the fridge?

so, cooking it does not raise the temperature enough to kill bacteria? Hmmm? Well, I was not sure, that's why I asked.

You should throw the oil away, it will/already has grown bacteria. Oil, even in a sealed jar, is a really good place for bacteria to grow.
You shouldn't use fresh herbs at all for flavoring oil, they can grow botulism etc really easily. You can flavor with dried herbs for a bit then strain them out and preferably refrigerate the oil. But that is only safe for a few weeks even in the fridge I think, after that it either goes kind of bad or starts to get too many bacteria in it.
Basically throw this stuff in the trash. Salt won't help w/germs at all, you need something acidic to keep the bacteria from growing (ie vinegar, etc) or keep it cold. They sell oils with herbs already in them at some grocery stores, gourmet food places, etc- those are made to be slightly acidic so the germs won't grow & you can store them like normal oils. I'd recommend buying that instead of doing it at home.

I shaved when I was going to do a bellydance performance because I accepted it as part of the “costume”. But I default to hairy. I tend to wear long skirts and sleeves anyway, so its a non issue for me, usually. Its an issue that fascinates me. My mother is HORRIFIED that I would have armpit hair. She sat me down for a Serious Talk as a teenager about how unhygenic it was. I asked why my brothers didn’t have to shave. She said something about men being dirty animals. Oddly enough, she didn’t have a problem with leg hair. When I was an exchange student to the states, I caught a guy in a bar eyeing me with the fascination some find for the deformed. I worked out he’d caught sight of my leg hair. The German girl I was with laughed and tried to expose hers. (So blond you couldn’t see anyway.) The guy we were with was increasingly uncomfortable and physically moved away from me when in the course of the discussion I said I hated sleeping with people with shaved legs because they scratched mine. (Do you think I should have explained the occasion was a platonic one with my tranny flatmate because we were both so cold in winter?)
