my hair wont grow help me please ?
well i am 13 im a girl and i am on my growth spurt and well about 1 year ago i go tmy haircut really short like short enough to spike it easily after i got it done i hated it so mch and last year every one called me dike spike well ever since then it has only grown an inch maybe less and about eveyr couple of months i trim my hair to get rid of the split ends i dont know why ut i never straightened my hair i dont use curling iron often or anything i been using herbal essence length and strenght shampoo and conditioner to help butit hasnti also tried eating more protein nothing is working ans i dont get that i am on my growth spurt and it still hasnt grown i have hair downstairs
Hair only grows 6 inches every year. You have a long way to go before you get long hair. Puberty will not increase the amount of hair you grow on your head.
Here are my recommendations:
1) Skip the trims. Unless you notice a lot of split ends.
2) Don't dye. You'll just create more damage and probably need a trim.
3) Get hair extensions. Get them braided in or get clip in's. Get a salon to do them and it will help you wait until your hair is longer.
4) Don't be too rough on your hair. Finger comb when your hair is wet. This is when your hair is at its most fragile, and if you cause too much damage your hair will seem like it isn't growing.
5) Take your multi's. Especially vitamin B which will help the hair you do grow to be strong and healthy.

Why is my hair like this? Help please?
Hey,
I had a question about my hair. I am 14 and my hair is around my shoulders. I want to grow it longer in time for summer. I have noticed that my hair is thinnng, but it's not too noticeable. I had thick hair like 2 years ago, until i got a straightener, Is this part of the problem? I've never dyed it either. I want long, shiny, full, healthy hair. I use The Biolage color care shampoo and conditionr by matrix, but sometimes i switch and use herbal essences. Are there any tips to maximize hair growth? Also, any recommendations of shampoos/ conditioners i could use? Or some washing routines?
