Why does my hair stop growing?
I'm a guy and I have recently decided to grow my hair out. I have done this twice before, but both times, my hair stops growing right at an ugly shaggy look. I want pretty long hair, almost shoulder length, but I also don't want to waste my time if it will just stop growing again. When I grew my hair out before I took excellent care of it. I combed and brushed is as you should and always used shampoo and conditioner. I do not understand why it stops growing or just starts growing extremely slow when I take such good care of it. I have been using a buzz cut lately and my hair grows to about an inch long after a month and a half or so but this rate of growth just doesn't stay consistent. Someone help!
yeah men hair are usually slow growing cuz they are usually cut repetedly right form childhood and hair become accustomed to that length, its called terminal length, the length hair follicles are accustomed to growing. however, it is posible now to grow em right back out if u follow certain simple steps:
1. cut off every inch that is considerably damaged cuz it will hinder growth.
2.avoid usiing heated appliances, they slow down growing by damaging protein
3.avoid chlorine water and chemical products. replace wit herbal products.
4. never wash your hair more than twice in a week. all natural oils of hair that stimulate growth get washed away.
5. deep condition once a month
6. take in lots of protein
