How do other countries or cultures use oils in terms of body and hair care? Do some use it daily?
I visited my friend and beauty school and she washed my hair and used a moraccan oil that made my hair lush plush smooth and soft.. what other countries use oil for skin or hair and what do they use and how often?
I wasn't sure whether to put this in society and culture or not..
The Tahitians use Manoi Tapani Coconut Oil on their hair. It has a gardenia flower in each bottle for fragrance. I used it there on my honeymoon and have used it ever since. You can get it here in fine health product stores. If they don't carry it, get a jar of coconut oil for cooking, put a little in a smaller bottle with a butter knife, cap it and hold it under hot tap water or microwave it 30 seconds until it liquifies. I use it after every shampoo, and my hair hair doesn't get stiff, and it's grown from shoulder length down to the middle of my back in a year.

plzz...help..m losing hair like anything..i only 17 and..my hair is in a horrible state...m losing hair from the scalp...and dandruff is only worsening my state...what should i do...any home remedies??? and should i apply oil to my scalp...i used to have thick hair but now when i peep into the mirror and notice my hair carefully it is very weak...horribly weak..and there are split ends too...and i have a couple of white hair too...what do i do...can anyone suggest a good diet for healthy and stron hair too..plz help.
You should try doing a hot oil treatment once a week. I like Olive oil mixed with equal parts of Dabur Amla oil. Heat the oil and it sections apply it to your hair and scalp, apply a lot, until your hair is completely covered in hot oil. Wrap your hair in a plastic shower cap and leave on over night. In the morning, co-wash the oil out. Use a cheap conditioner like Suave Tropical coconut.
