Growth Stimulation Shampoo
Question about peppermint shampoo or shampoo that makes scalp tingle...?
Okay, I have shoulder length hair and I am getting married in November and any kind of hair stimulation that initiates growth would be amazing.
I am looking into biotin shampoos from Ulta because I have heard that strengthens your hair and really revitalizes it. I am also looking into tingling shampoos.
I have a theory that the peppermint shampoos that make your scalp tingle stimulate your scalp which in turn stimulates hair growth? Kind of like...after shaving my legs, the cold stimulates my hair follicles and gives me goosebumps and makes my hair show out.
I am not sure...that was just a thought...but...any kind of recommedation would be appreciated!
I am willing to try anything to put on my hair at this point. Just not a pill. I do not want to take any meds for it. Just great shampoos and conditioners.
personally the shampoos with menthol in give me an allergic reaction! but i know what you mean about feeling like it is helping somehow... by stimulating the scalp.
here are some things that have been proven to work:
1) before you go to bed at night, give your scalp a massage with olive oil and LAVENDER OIL! the lavender is the active ingredient. it has been proven to stimulate hair to grow faster. then obviously wash it off in the morning! it will also help you sleep which is a bonus as sleep is very important for hair growth - my ex boyfriend used to sleep loads and his hair grew incredibly fast
2) hair and nail supplements! these are not meds, but they really really help and you will get beautiful skin too. it's just a combination of vitamins which are sometimes lacking in our diets ...
3)eat lots of red meat and drink orange juice with it - the combination of iron and vitamin c ensures your hair does not go short of this important mineral as it aids absorption
4) get your fiance to give you regular scalp massages! these will not only stimulate your scalp but also help you relax in the weeks leading up to the wedding!
good luck! there are more things you can do but these are very important and they work in my experience
