chemistry geniuses, anyone know anything about copper peptides (copper chloride)? ?
I used it on my scalp for a few months to stimulate hair growth. Then I highlighted and low lighted my hair. Big mistalke! The low lights turned BLACK, not light blond. To fix it we highlighted the black until it faded, just a couple of minutes. Half my hair fell out. What was the chemical reaction that occured? I'm assuming between bleach and copper, or dye and copper.
you should know that bleach is awful for hair. copper chloride is a salt... the bleach weakens the bonds in your hair
