Gram Hair Loss
Will this diet cause hair loss?
Ok so if I consume the following everyday do you think I would lose hair:
one serving protein shake ( 110 calories;21 grams of protein and about half of your daily needs for every vitamin and mineral)
an apple ( 100 calories)
a banana ( 100 calories)
a yogurt (70 calories)
3 servings of cereal (360 calories)
one serving of fat free milk ( 80 calories)
Thats about 840 calories a day. Yes, I was anerexic, but then I ate everything in sight and now I look like Amy Whinehouse in a bathing suit, so I wanna look like a model again. I don't mind eating like a model. I just don't want the hair loss like I had last time. I think it was because of the protein. With this diet I would be having about 45-50 grams.
I'm only a teen I can't buy pills. I don't mind starving myself all I need to know is will it work?? And I don't want to lose my hair.
If you can purchase some spirulina and chlorella it will help cover your bases. The diet above has no greens and is probably lacking some important nutrients needed for proper hair growth. Spirulina and chlorella will supply plenty of protein, iron, and many other valuable nutrients. It is the same or better than eating green vegetables. They won't add many calories but will ensure you get adequate high quality nutrients.

Cure for Hair Loss
What could be causing my hair loss?
It seems to fall out really easily. When i wash it, brush it, even just run my fingers through it. I am a vegetarian but I get my b vitamins and 40-45 grams of protein a day. Is that enough? I have had my thyroid checked,
oh, also there is itching envoloved when I get sweaty or it gets wet for to long. Any ideas for what i can do, or what is causing it?
There are many reasons such as stress, lack of some vitamins, too much use of shampoo, and hormonal imbalances. Hormones place a large role in woman’s hair loss and it can be caused by an overactive thyroid, menopause, pregnancy or other hormonal changes.
There are three basic types of woman’s hair loss: 1) androgenic alopecia, 2) Telogen effluvium and 3) alopecia areata. There are less common causes of the condition as well. The most common cause of treatment of androgenic alopecia are those directed at hormonal alterations in the system.
