Formula Supplement
My 7 month old is not drinking formula due to teething. Should I give her some form of supplement?
My daughter is 7 months and teething. She has went from 30 oz. of formula to maybe 20 sometimes 15 a day. She is still eating solids twice a day. Should I give her pedialyte or something else to make up for the nutrients she isn't getting? Is it normal for babies to stop drinking formula while teething?
I would not be concerned about it unless it continues for a longer period of time. Sometimes the sucking motion of a bottle bothers them when they are teething. If she is able to use a sippy cup at all, you might want to offer her the formula in that and see if that works better for her. Since she is on solid foods and is taking in some formula, a short term reduction in the amount of formula she takes will likely not effect her.
When my son was 6 months old he went through a stage (unreleated to teething oddly) where he wouldn't take his bottle or nurse. I think he may have been taking in 10-12 ounces for the entire day and even that was a struggle with him. He was eating some solids, but not a lot, yet he was still otherwise okay. For him it lasted 3 or 4 days and then he was back to normal. If your daughter seems to otherwise be doing okay and isn't showing any signs of dehydration or illness she will likely be fine and be back to taking her bottles soon.
However, if it continues for more than a few days I would contact her doctor and see what he recommends. I wouldn't give her the pedialyte or any other supplement though without contacting her doctor first and getting his recommendation.

What is the best muscle building supplement? (already taking p90x recovery formula)?
Im about to start the p90x Recovery Formula Drink which is great for improving recovery (like the name states lol) but i want to add a supplement on top of that that helps with actually building muscle mass. What is teh best supplement to help me build muscle mass that i can layer on top of the recovery formula?
To be totally honest, food is the best muscle building supplement there is. Make sure youre taking in enough quality calories and protein. Taking all kinds of supplements wont make you get stronger. Really the only supplement i would recommend is a basic whey protein shake. Dont fall into the supplement trap. Most are over priced garbage.
