Fibers Dark Brown I have sometype of fungus or mold growing in my window sill. What is it? How should I fix it?
It's growing on the inside where the window tends to get damp. (I know it should be replaced and will be in the next 2-3 months). I've had some black mold (that's descriptive of the mold I don't know if it was the "Black Mold" that's toxic) that would grow in the seal, but I misted that with bleach a few times and have had no more issues with that. Recently there has been a lot of rain. The window didn't seem wet, but now there's this weird thing I've never seen anything like. It's very dark brown and seems to be made up of hair like fibers. It's just under an inch long. My husband touched it when he discovered it and the portion he touched turned into powder.
I don't know if I should --collect a sample and find someone to analyze it (it would turn to dust if I try to move it). --vacuum it up and spray the area with bleach --call the CDC
I've had some really weird things growing in my mulch/garden just under the window, but nothing like this. Is it a health hazard?
Until you can get it fixed - spray straight bleach on it with a spray bottle. Make sure your room is vented well when you do.
Get it fixed soon because it will get worse in winter.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you dealing with a constipation issues, a feeling of not voiding your bowels completely after going to the bathroom, or what???
