Derma Roller
Can damage to skin be corrected by laser or other procedure?
I had a surgical scar and when started to massage it to improve it 5 months post op it became problematic. I decided to use a derma roller on the skin surrounding the scar and around the scar. After 6 months almost I have noticed damage in these areas.. however hair seems to be trying to grow underneath the damage. It seems like surface scarring. I have used retin a and it did peel slightly, but this damaged sees very difficult to just peel off. Will laser resurfacing help? SInce there is hair trying to grow is this a good sign?

I do not see how damaging the skin cells by applying laser rays will help the skin recover.
My suggestion is to leave the skin to grow naturally for a long period of time (a month or two) then see your dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon who may be able to to remove malformed skin tissue. A skin graft is another choice.

derma rollers on hair loss and stretchmarks?
my brother loses a lot of hair and he's starting to look bald when he's at the age of 19.. which isnt very good! do you think using the derma rollers would work?
and how about stretchmarks? do i have to use a special cream with it?
would you recomend i should buy a roller?

I don't think anything can really stop premature balding. It happens often. I know lots of people who in their late teens and early twenties already have very thin hair. It's because of the testosterone. So unless you can influence that, he's resigned to his fate.
And creams don't heal scars. Scar tissue is different tissue and creams only affect the upper layer of the skin. It's good to keep your skin supple, but other than that you just need to learn to live with them. My previous gf had them too and she was skinny, so I'm sure it affects girls of all sizes.
And for the record: I didn't give a damn. Didn't make her any less pretty.
So don't let any of those advertisement commercials fool you. If you think rationally and if you're honest to yourself, you know they're bogus.
