Deep Repair Hair
Will avoiding heat for a year repair my damaged hair?
I have extremely damaged ends from straightening (even though I only do it twice a week, it looks terrible!).
My hair is cut into a bob a little longer than chin length, but not all the layers are even (it looks terrible straight).
I want to repair my damage and grow my hair long.
Here's my plan:
1. Avoid straightening hair. At max, use heat once a month.
2. Deep condition hair at least once a week using Aussie 3 Minute Miracle or Olive Oil.
3. Get hair trimmed at least every 8 weeks.
Will my hair return to its normal state after following this routine?
avoiding heat/straightening will help, but it won't repair your hair. i used to have damaged hair as well. you could (if you wanted) use a safe hair straightener like ones without heat. you should use some garnier fructis flyaway hair shampoo/conditioner or set. it works really good. at least every few months get your hair cut a little more than a trim.

Cottony, tangled, REALLY damaged hair repair?
My hair feels like cotton, sort of barbie-like hair, and it tangles all the time. I can't use product in my hair because it tangles it more and feels like it's covered in pomade.
Does anyone know if you can go to a salon and have it repaired?

you can go to a salon and have it repaired but trust me they will want to cut it, have you tried vo5 hot oils they work really well....
