Deal Hair
How do you deal with hair that is mostly straight but never looks polished?
I like the sexy wavy look but it's hard to achieve smooth curls that aren't frizzy and have hold.
I also like the straightened look cos it's easier than curling it but this is damaging and also gets boring after a while
If I do nothing w/ my hair it looks a little shabby, like just kinda messy wavy.
Anyone have similar problem?
Polished meaning neat looking, put together...
my hair isn't long enough to curl, but I use a chi flat iron to make it straight without being frizzy...
chi are expensive, but well worth the money, and you can find them on ebay for less than a salon
also, try treseme leave in conditioner

| | Hair $11.98 It's easy for an older rock fan to enjoy a track like the opener, "Just Don't Know," from the Lonely H's Hair, a track that draws heavily from classic rock without sounding overly derivative. At just over three minutes, the vocal, harmony, and big chords come together so effectively that they'll restore one's faith in the kind of rock that seemed to have passed from the scene in 1977. The acoustic-based "Rollin'" and upbeat rock of "Yeah, Yeah" create a similar vibe. A photo of the band, each of the five members topped with a resplendent head of hair, also seems to hark back to the '60s and '70s, a fact reinforced by the album's title. Other cuts -- like "The Meal" and the title cut -- sound more contemporary, but even here, the guitar work of Eric Whitman and Colin Field is grounded in an earlier era. Backed by these guitarists along with a rhythm section made up of drummer Ben Eyestone and bassist Johnny Whitman, Mark Fredson puts these songs across with a great deal of confidence. The Lonely H also reveal themselves to be ambitious on "The Drought," a multi-part song partly in the tradition of Queen and extended for eight minutes. "The Drought," however, lacks the spark or cohesion of a good Queen mini-opera, and has the effect of weighing Hair down four songs in. The remainder of the album veers from the heavier rock of "For Barbara" to the keyboard-based pop of "Captain." While the material on Hair lacks consistency and is perhaps too eclectic to fit together, the Lonely H deliver solid performances that should please fans of the group's first CD, Kick Upstairs. ~ Ronnie D. How to deal with curly hair?
Ok, my hair is really thick and curly, so I get it straightened alot, just because that way it's easier to deal with.
But does anyone know what I can do to make my hair more manegable when it's curly, like different hair styles and other suggestions.

i'm the same way,
my hair is very very very curly and i straighten my hair all the time.
but lately i've cut back on straightening to let my hair repair a bit.
but since i've been keeping it curly,
i use tresemme's flawless curls curl hydration lotion creme and after that i put tresemme's touchable curls shaping milk in my hair.
and it's like the best hair product ever for curly hair!
i live in louisiana where that humidity is 90% and up every day, and if it works down here, it'll work for you.
it keeps the frizz out and keeps the style alllll day and a little goes a long way(:

On the tofu, I put sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, cayenne pepper, paprika, ground ginger, and garlic powder. I got the idea from Em at Gliding Calm. If you wanted to pare it down a little, I'd just do oil and honey because they are key for the crunchy outside!

About the onions…I was thinking it's really funny that I go through the whole deal of hair and makeup and accessories every day, only to go out into the world reeking of onions.
