help!!! to get rid of dandruff...?
im losing hair... and there are tiny boilings appearing at the base of my neck. And i really cant afford to see a derm right now. can anyone suggest home remedy (which they food effective). Any hair oils .. home made tonics. anythng!!
Okay, brace yourself I think this is going to be a loong answer! I had the same problem (even worse!) problem as you. I had dandruff, dry, damaged hair with an extremely dry and frizzy top part and greasy bottom part. I had severe and still do have some, extremely crunchy ends and split ends. I washed my hair every day, and it was still greasy. I finally found out I wasn't washing my hair properly. Firstly, if you have thick hair, you should wash your hair 3-4 times in the shower, lathering from the top at your scalp, then just your hair, bent over, etc. It sounds stupid, but knowing how to properly wash your hair plays a vitale role in recovery! I secondly learned that washing your hair every day makes it very, very dry and damaged. Start washing your hair only two-three times a week. For me, it was gross. My hair looked greasy after only one day, but after a few weeks my hair got used to my new regiment, and my shine completely recovered and my new hair grew in healthy. If you want your hair to grow out nicely, you (unfortunately) have to cut off your extremely bad pieces. If you' don't, and your hair is somewhat similar to mine, it'll just look like an extremely crunchy, poofy end where your hair is just drained from all of it's colour. Next, make sure you only comb wet hair with a wide-tooth comb, because wet hair is very sensitive and you can loose a lot of hair just from combing your hair improperly when it's wet. I had hair falling out all over my shirt from this. Make sure you buy a shampoo that is specially designed for your hair. Following my previous steps, stop using dandruff shampoos like Head & Shoulders. I used Head & Shoulders, and it didn't help much. I actually stopped using all dandruff shampoos and now I just use shampoos that are for colour treated hair (brings out loads of shine) or for dry hair. My dandruff completely stopped after learning how to wash my hair less and take better precautions with it. You have to also stop blow-drying it and styling it so often. I now blow dry my hair maybe twice in one month, because air drying tends to make your hair less frizzy, and less of a damaged poof. When styling your hair, make sure to put a protective serum or spray on it to prevent burn from heat. When blow drying your hair, don't dry it till it's completely dry and burning against your scalp, because that's a recipe for damage. Take more time to comb your hair, don't tug on it when it gets on your nerves because it only makes it worse. Lastly, if I'm not forgetting something, make sure to eat certain foods that provide hair and skin with the nutrients they need to look strong and healthy. Nuts, dark green vegetables and water are some things that help your hair grow strong. Hopefully I helped you with your problem, because everything I've stated has helped me come from having gross, heavy, greasy, damaged... etc... hair to almost completely recovered hair! As for the boils, I had one in the little patch of hair in front of my ear, but now it's gone. I can't promise you that these tips will help, but maybe drinking more water or going out in the sun will help stop them. If not, try plucking them.
