Curing Ointment

Does anyone know of a homemade recipe for diaper rash ointment?
or maybe a home remedy? just wondering cuz diaper rash cream is expensive.
I am talking about something to cure diaper rash, not prevent it
I use Pink Xav and its not very expensive and it lasts a along time too.. (i've had my container of for 1.5 yrs)
you get it over the counter at the pharmacy.. the bigger tube may be like 5-6 bucks but the stuff last forever cause you don't need a whole lot of it and in my opinion it works better than 98% of the other diaper rash ointments/cremes..

Hemorrhoid Treatment and Prevention
How can I tell if a cut is infected?
I got cut on my forearm yesterday with some sharp wire. The surrounding area is red, the site is raised up from the other tissue, it is warmer than the other tissue, and it's painful. I think this is normal, but I want to make sure I'm OK. I don't have a fever or anything that is normally indicative of an infection.
If it is infected, will simply applying an antibiotic ointment on it cure it?
The redness, and warmth are some beginning signs of infection. You definitely should be using antibiotic ointment. Now if it becomes more painful, or begins to have pus, or you start a fever, then you definitely should have it checked out by a doctor.
