What is the point of the Blu-Ray DVD Combo pack?
do you need both?
It allows you to watch the DVD version now, and when you buy a blu-ray player, you won't have to re-buy the movie. It can also be helpful if you want to take the movie on a trip with you, as most laptops only have a DVD player in them, not a blu-ray player.
More importantly, however, it allows the studio to count that purchase of a Combo Pack as both the sale of a DVD AND blu-ray. Blu-ray hasn't been doing very well for a variety of reasons, and this way they can inflate their blu-ray sales.

CPGear - Gen III '64 Combo Pack - Product Review
Can you use the Zune combo travel pack for a 4GB Zune?
I have read many, many reviews and people either give the pack 5 stars or 1 star. The five stars are from the people with 30 gb Zunes (first generation) and the people who give the pack one star have 80 gb Zunes (second generation). I still don't know if the pack will work for a 4gb Zune. Go to Amazon and check it out for yourself.
It should work. If the package says that it will work with all models, than that is what it should do. If not, return it for the combo package that will work with it.

I believe the difference is packaging only. One is packaged as a DVD w/bonus blu-ray and the other is package as a Blu-Ray w/bonus DVD. Some people get into packaging I think.
I also believe on of them tells you (the 18.00 one perhaps), if you upgrade to Blu Ray you save money… so what you have to do is basically, turn in your VHS copy or DVD copy of Beauty and the Beast and you get the Blu-Ray/DVD Combo for 10 or so dollars off.
