After drying your hair and running a comb through it Why would small bits of paper be attracted to the comb?
It is a dry day and you are washing your hair to remove the natural oils, then you thoroughly dry it, and run a plastic comb through it. Why would small bits of paper be atrractd to the comb.
As you run the comb through your hair, electrons are passed from your hair to the comb causing a net negative charge to build up (this is what static electricity is). This negative charge acts on objects that typically have net positive charges (such as dust, bits of paper, etc.). You will also notice that your hair may be attracted to the comb afterwards, this is because in the process of losing electrons, your hair has obtained a net positive charge and is now attracted to the net negative charge of the comb. How often do you wash and comb your hair?
wash once a week and comb once a week- i know combing pulls out hair and washing hair too much makes it where it loses its natural oils-

combing it too much hurts a lot- like gives me a headache since i'm growing my afro out past my shoulders-
umm... that really depends upon the texture of your hair i guess... i wash mine once every three days and brush it once a day... whatever you do, don't brush your hair when its wet!! thats when its at its weakest. with hair like yours, maybe you should tru changing your conditioner.. using one like dove will make your hair easier to manage.
