Choose Color Building

What color should I chose?
My husband and I are currently building our kitchen and I am having a very difficult time picking out a color for the walls. Its a small kitchen with 3 walls. The cabinets are a dark chocolate brown and the counter-top we choose is

I am very indecisive and I cant decide on a color. I am not afraid of color at all and my husband wants to put red in it, a dark brick color. Im not sure, i don't know what to think about it. I was thinking more of a safe color like cream or tan, lol. I am open to any and all suggestions!
I love red in a kitchen. Mine is red right now.
Pick a barn red. Not an orange red like brick. Your appliances will look great and you can accessorize in red too. I have a red , white and blue rug by the sink and a bright red kettle on the stove.
Use brushed nickel for handles and other accents.
have fun.

| | Building $43.83 Building: 3000 Years of Design, Engineering, and Construction traces the history of modern building engineering in the Western world from ancient times to the present, bringing to life the key people, buildings, and concepts that have influenced engineering and architecture over the millennia. This comprehensive and heavily illustrated volume documents the classic texts, instruments, materials, and theories that have propelled modern engineering, and the famous and not-so-famous buildings that have resulted through the ages, from the Parthenon to Chartres Cathedral and the dome of St. Peter`s, from eighteenth-century silk and cotton mills in England to the Crystal Palace, and from the first Chicago high-rises to the Sydney Opera House and the "green" skyscrapers of today.Organized chronologically in nine chapters, Building focuses on the specific innovations and geographic centers of activity that defined each period in engineering history. Each chapter concentrates on the famous characters and unsung heroes of engineering history.Accompanying the narrative text are more than 750 color and black-and-white photographs, archival plans and drawings, and original technical diagrams, many from rare and specialized sources around the world. Sidebars highlight key developments, including the slide rule, the evolution of the structural frame, and the glass facade; major texts such as De Architecture by Vitruvius, and brief histories of key concepts such as calculus. Also included in the book are extensive reference materials: timelines, appendices, a glossary, notes, bibliography, and a guide to further reading. |

| | Choose Your Own Adventure $12.78 Choose Your Own Adventure, Jon Bolden's 2006 release on Panther Records, is a bit of a departure from his previous work. Before this release, Bolden garnered some attention for a couple albums' worth of irreverent and enjoyable acoustic songs like "I'm So Awkward," a tribute to an adolescent web stalker. His desire to create something more coherent and musically serious is evident, and the result is a group of somewhat homogenous-sounding songs that hang together well. The irreverence is toned down but Bolden, like a fidgety kid in a Christmas pageant, can't really hold a straight face for 13 whole tracks. The album is a song cycle, starting with "Breathe In" and ending with (wait for it) "Breathe Out." It's debatable whether this framing works for or against Bolden. The most enjoyable tracks on this album are the fun ones -- the ones that exhibit Bolden, both as a songwriter and as a performer, at his least self-conscious. "The People I Know," a song released on one of Bolden's earlier albums, shows off the kind of guitar-driven quirkiness and levity that earned him a cult following in the first place. Bolden can seem downright maudlin at times (see the howl at the end of "In Color"), but he makes up for it with jumpy Weezer-style pop songs like "Marla Singer" or "Inspiration." This is an uneven album, but Bolden's fans will undoubtedly enjoy Choose Your Own Adventure for those moments when Bolden drops his guard and grins. ~ Margaret Reges, Rovi Performers: Sam Lee - Drums |

How to Choose a Color Scheme & Paint : Making a Color Diagram for Home Painting
Have a choice to have your own home designed and build, what style would you choose?
Whould you like a classic straight lined home painted white with glass and silver;
Mexican style with a large fireplace and lots of oragne colours;
Double story house (mansion) with an indoor swimming pool and garden;
Garden Cottage with a nice vegatable garden and a fish pond?
Come on let us dream for dream can become true.
Enjoy the week-end
I once drafted the "home of the future" for a science fair. Unfortunately, I was too young, it was not my field of interest at the time, and I got a B. However, I long to revisit the idea, and one day, build (have built?) and live in that house.
Since all the things mentioned, and so many more, appeal to me in some way, I'm inclined to think I would like a large property with an eclectic landscape. The home should probably then take place around that. The colors, materials for the climate, etc. - all would be a function of location.
The building itself would take a lot of thought. I would like the amenities of the "futuristic" home, but really long to live in a stone castle. So, I combine the two concepts, throw in a splash of Japanese gardening, a Greek pillar or two - and viola.

Wow. That's a very informative question. The difference between the customized price and the original price is so small you can almost neglect it. I purchase an Asus Eee PC which came with a 16GB hard drive and I asked the technician to upgrade it for me for an extra fee. I even added a little more RAM and bought an external optical drive since it didn't come with any for lightweight purposes. Almost all of the features that lacked, I bought all of them and it was worth it. Compare it with a laptop which has everything at the cost of almost $1000. I was able to save almost $600.
So you're more concerned on how advanced your laptop should be. My advice, having the best laptop means having the most advanced piece of technology on the street. You can customize it right? Then do the necessary customizations according to your preferences and besides the difference between the customized and original prices is so small. I'd cutomize right away if I were you. Plus, with the customization feature, you can fill in any gaps as prepared by factory default. More storage is important so you need to upgrade to 80GB HDD. 16GB won't get you anywhere.
