Castor Oil Strong
I tried castor oil last night~~?
I tried castor oil last night~~i couldnt get it all down cuz it wuz just gross!!!...but i did wake up with VERY strong contractions, but they eased down some since then...so i tried something a friend suggested...just do a little at a time with some root beer...so, at 3:30 this afternoon i took some root beer, poured it in a glass, and added a teaspoon of castor oil...right after i downed that, i did another teaspoon, and then one more...some people say to take 3 teaspoons, while i also hear 3 tablespoons from others...which is more better??...how long should i wait before i try more??...i definitely dont want to over do it...but should i try tablespoons next time if the 3 teaspoons dont work??...thanx for any advice!!!...
Do you want to have diarrhea while you're in labor? If so, keep it up. If you're at the end of your pregnancy, your baby will be here very soon. Although it's hard to wait, wait.

Jamaican Black Castor Oil Shampoo Review
Will Castor oil work if not effaced?
Will castor oil work for induction of labour if you're not effaced and only dilated a fingertip? I've been having very strong contractions all night long and a nurse actually suggested castor oil to get things going but failed to tell me if it'd work on a closed cervix.
Yeah I was a little surprised that a nurse suggested it as well. However, I've been in 3x for preterm labour and she's looked after me each time. Maybe she knows how difficult it's getting.
Even with an opened cervix there is a chance castor oil might not work. IT gives you a horrible case of the runs(sorry tmi) and the muscles that contract when you get them are what is supposed to set labor off.My cousin took that when she was pregnant and she was dialated to 2 cms and was about 70% effaced and all she got was a horrible case of the runs and ended up NOT going into labor and was 2 wks overdue with her baby. You could try it,I'm sure you would probably get the same reaction to it if you were effaced any.
