Has this happened to you after you had your baby?
I've had hair loss when I brush my hair. I don't have any stress in my life and I just dont know what's causing this? I was looking on different sites and I came across this:
Many women notice hair loss about 3 months after they've had a baby. This loss is also related to hormones. During pregnancy, high levels of certain hormones cause the body to keep hair that would normally fall out. When the hormones return to pre-pregnancy levels, that hair falls out and the normal cycle of growth and loss starts again.
I just want to know if this has happened to any of you.
Oh absolutely. I nearly clogged the drain with all the hair I lost. It sure seemed like a lot in the hairbrush and in the shower drain, but I never really noticed a difference on my head though.
Many many many women lose some hair after childbirth, but usually do not lose enough to where they actually look different. Don't worry, you won't go bald!

I have thinning hair after my pregnancy. I have always had very thick hair, but after the baby and lots of starvation my body was thin and so is my hair. I believe my hormones are all mixed-up. What is the hormone that increases hair growth?

I wasn't aware there was a "test" for PCOS. Hmmm, that's a tough one. Maybe you should go and see and Endocrinologist or get a second opinion. Must be so frustrating for you! Im sorry you're going through this. Hope an answer comes your way soon!
