Blocker Hypnosis
Is it possible to erase a memory?
NOT BECAUSE I WANT TO SO PLEASE DON'T LEAVE COMMENTS ABOUT IT BEING A BAD IDEA!
I'm doing a research paper and i didn't think it was humanly possible but I thought i'd ask.
And what exactly do beta-blockers do for your memory? Do they just create the impression in your mind that it was less traumatic than it actually was?
What about the hypnosis route? How and what does that do for you?
Also what about injury that causes memory loss? What kind of injuries to the brain cause you to lose your memory and why?

What is electro-therapy? How does that work?
As far as I know there is no way to stop or remove a single memory because the way the brain works.
Electro therapy does work but removes lots of memories are and also some the patient doesn't want removed.
The same problem I would say for beta-blockers the brain stores memories in pathways and although we can tell roughly where they are to pin point the one you want remove is impossible. So again a lot of memories will be removed or subdued.
The hypnosis is a hard one as far as I know it can only give suggestions to the subconscious mind and it can be total ignored by the patent so again not so good.
The way the brain remembers is through connections or path ways through the brain. So I would say that you would need to damage brain a great deal in a specific area of the brain for that to happen. Even if it did there is a chance of recovery of remembering the memory as the brain heals it's self. The problem is also if it's psychological trauma or brain damage.
So with ill use of some of the drugs and ill used psychology treatments you may convince the patient that the memory is false but I would say that even then the sub conscious mind would remember effecting the patent to a point of breakdown.
Then we get to the questionable stuff that we don't know if it true or not there a lot of mind control and some thoughts of memory being blocked removed all over the net but like all conspiracy theories no proof.

Beta blockers and The Work - a trap, drug or blessing for your spiritual work path?
EXTREME fear of public speaking....
I have an extreme fear of public speaking. I have tried hypnosis, beta blockers, etc., none work for me. I need something way stronger. What would that be and which doctor do I need to go to to get it?
Well, if you have extreme fear of public speaking, probably you have an anxiety disorder such as social phobia, so my advice is going to therapy, a cognitive-behavioral therapy would be quite good in your case and if you need any drugs, it should be given by a professional doctor or a psychiatrist .
