Biotin is a cofactor responsible for carbon dioxide transfer in several carboxylase enzymes. That is, it carries carbon dioxide (as a carboxylate group) between enzymes.
Most people get plenty in their diets. Biotin supplements are often recommended as a natural product to counteract the problem of hair loss in both children and adults. There are, however, no studies that show any benefit in any case where the subject is not actually biotin deficient. Some shampoos are available that contain biotin, but it is doubtful whether they would have any useful effect, as biotin is not absorbed well through the skin.

I want to know if the amount of vitamins im taking daily is to much. What do you think?
Im 24 yrs old, 6'3- 240 lbs and i take One serving of each everyday. I am an active person. I workout at least 3 times a week. Should i continue the way i am going or should just take the Multi V or just take 1/2 of a Multi V and keep taking the Vita C?
