Balding Dht
im 22 & have a receding hairline, what is the most effective way you found to stop this?
young and balding youth looking for the answer of why someone such as themself is losing their hair. i understand that dht levels have to do with it, but what cause dht levels for one, and how can i lower them safely, without health or physical sideeffects.
Get some Saw Palmetto from your local health store. There is some scientific evidence to show that it can reduce DHT via inhibitting an enzyme called: 5-alpha-reductase. This enzyme is the culprit for male-pattern balness!
Finasteride (brand names Propecia® and Proscar®) has been approved by the FDA (in the US) as a treatment for men with male-pattern baldness (androgenic alopecia). It works by lowering DHT, via inhibitting the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase. However, there can be an increased risk for associated side effects such as: erectile dysfunction, ejaculatory disorders, and decreased libido. Herbals are generally balanced in nature such that you don't usually get unwanted side effects. So I would opt for the Saw Palmetto if you want to try something. There is no guarantee however. But you could try it - it might just work. But has as been suggested above - you could opt for the clean shaven look as it is trendy and quite appealing!
