how to grow back healthy hair?
my friend has a really big bald spot on the top right side of her head .
and she wants to know if there's anything she can use to make her
hair grow back . she use to have nice , long and thick hear and now
she has really thin hair and she doesn't have a lot of it . on the bald
spot section it feels really soft like an old person's head that has lost
all their hair . she use to wear a lot gel and hairspray so i think she
might have fried her roots but if you know any home remedy's or products
let me know before she takes extreme measures like hair restoration .
..so try this...regular trims are a must, about every 7-9 weeks.(if your hair is really healthy then up the trims to about every 12 weeks, a trim is just a snip off the ends) if its been awhile since you have had a trim then inches may be called for to get to healthy hair. i use vitamin e on fresh washed hair.(its a vitamin that can be purchased where you buy vitamins, cut open capsule, squeeze into hand, rub hands together and apply to hair) dont message into scalp. if you get too much then just rewash it. hair will feel slightly sticky until dry then it will be nice and soft. it tames the frizzies, deep conditions and makes hair grow about three in a month. it takes about a month for the growth part of the e to kick in. the other benefits are instant. dont brush your hair but maybe three or four times a week to message the scalp,dry hair, never wet, i use a wide tooth comb at other times. brushing breaks off hair. i just started biotin vitamins going on four months ago this sat and notice and big growth spurt from that. biotin is cheap and also promotes hair regrowth and growth. i also have the biotin shampoo that i got from a vitamin store online.(puritans pride.com or vitadigest.com) five bucks for a big bottle and a big bottle of E is about 8 bucks. the biotin is about 3 bucks. i now take my fingers and message my scalp about five times a week, along with the brushing thats a good way to do it without damaging your hair. apply two or three capsules of e to dry hair and message into scalp and hair really well, put damp towel in microwave for 1 min to get hot, then quickly wrap head, a dry towel can be placed over that to help hold in the heat, leave on for 15 min, shampoo well, makes an excellent hot oil treatment. good luck, AND some people will argue about regular trims, your hair does grow from the roots, yes, but if your hair is not trimmed at the bottom, the it splits, get dry and brittle not to mention thin looking from no trims at all and frizzy. then your hair starts to break off at the bottom and giving you the appearance that it never grows. so to make hair grow as fast as possible and keep it healthy, then trims are an essential part of hair care. look on a ruler and check out less then half an inch and if your salon does not know what that is then take a ruler with you, i have. as of five weeks ago adding beta carotene vitamins to my regimen. i found out that along with the biotin it is very very good in promoting hair growth. they were five bucks for a bottle of 100. got them at walmart. the biotin and e can also be purchased at walmart, and adding all this up is pretty cheap to get great hair. the shampoo is now available in the new food lion stores. just found this out.

You Must Watch For The Early Signs Of Balding
If your forebears such as your father or grandfather had a bald spot then chances are that you may well develop one as well, so it's very important to watch for the early signs of balding. There are now well recognized ways of treating hair loss but it is always better to catch it early. Even excellent modern hair restoration treatments cannot grow hair on a bald head.
The vast majority of hair loss suffered by men is as a result of what is called male pattern baldness or more specifically androgenic alopecia. You inherit male pattern baldness from earlier members of your family but it is not true to say that if your father or grandfather was bald you would also be bald.
Although male pattern baldness is genetic not all those with previous family members to a bald will suffer it, but despite this it certainly pays you to keep an eye out that the early signs of baldness if there is baldness in your family.
A long time it has been known that mens hair loss is mainly genetic but the actual mechanism which resulted in their hair loss was completely unknown. However it has been more recently discovered and it is now known what causes the hair to fall out.
It relates to the operation of the male sex hormone called DHT. DHT is responsible for the development of hair in men as they develop through puberty and in the case of men with male pattern baldness it seems they are more prone to developing more DHT.
DHT attaches to the base of the hair follicle and strangles the hair robbing it of essential nutrients that it needs for optimum hair health. If it is possible to block the actions of DHT this will remove the problem, however the hair still needs to have nutrition available.
Science has now discovered methods of blocking the operation of DHT and there are now successful hair loss treatments approved by the FDA. However as mentioned it is always important that you monitor your hair and look for the early symptoms of hair loss.
The signs of balding include hair receding at the temples, thinning hair and the probable development of a bald patch on the crown of the head. The signs and the pattern of hair loss will vary from male to male.
Whilst there are effective hair loss treatments available it is still important to look in the mirror every morning to watch for early signs of balding to get onto the problem as quickly as you can. The quicker you catch the balding and start the treatment the better chance you have of successfully treating your loss of hair.
